Surrey Heath Liberal Democrats are looking for a dynamic Campaign Organiser to be a key part of the team driving their General Election campaign in the Surrey Heath parliamentary seat (currently held by the Conservatives). Currently the team consists of volunteers.
In the May 2023 local elections, the Liberal Democrats made extensive gains, taking 24 out of 35 seats on Surrey Heath Borough Council, becoming the largest party and taking control of the Council from the Conservatives, who had run the Council for 49 years. Five Parish
Councillors were also elected. This firmly established the Liberal Democrats as the leading party in local government. The May results demonstrated the party’s ability to make powerful electoral gains across the Surrey Heath area.
In addition, the boundaries of the Surrey Heath parliamentary constituency have changed this year.
We are now putting together the team to build on that success at the General Election. Working directly with our Elections Officer, the Campaign Organiser will be the lynch-pin of that team.
